Life can, without any work, become quite a drudgery. Especially if one allows the crap one encounters to take up too much space, or to become too important. This blog is a shared endeavor by two Besties, the BEST of BESTIES, to combat the drudgery, the Soul eating crap; to kick it's ASS with the strongest weapon mankind possesses: LAUGHTER!! We will look for the good, the funny, the obscene and the silly, and we will post it here. One each, each and every day!
Our belief is that in life you find what you look for; so by golly we will look for FUN!
For there exists no proof that life is indeed serious!

U in?
The text message she sent earlier tonight simply said "assignment for next year u ask?" followed by the proposed missive to send one another a positive observation each and every day of the new year to look for the good and ensure a great year. Then the burning question... "U in?"
A few hours of brainstorming later and "Positively Besties" is a functioning blog with the promise of much positivity for the New Year. The only thing that would be cooler is if my Bestie were sitting here with me instead of so many miles away.
So there you have it...two besties....who find ourselves living 850 miles apart after serendipitously (or was it?) crossing paths years ago in a karaoke bar in West Virginia...blogging as another way to shorten the distance since our hearts are not that far apart wherever we may be. We have embarked on many journeys together over the years and I expect this one to be an adventure as well.
If you stumble across this blog, buckle your mental seat belt and enjoy the ride. As usual, the two of us are ALL IN! Happy 2011 INDEED!
